Kendrick Lamar & SZA Top Billboard Hot 100 Chart For 3rd Week In A Row With ‘Luther’

Kendrick Lamar and SZA are still on top, as their duet “Luther” has remained at the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart for the third week in a row.

Billboard confirmed the track’s spot on Monday (March 10). The song now ties “Not Like Us” and “Like That” for Kendrick’s longest stay at No. 1.

SZA and Kendrick are set to hit the road soon on their Grand National Tour, which was announced earlier this year.

The arena tour kicks off on April 19 in Minneapolis, MN and wraps up on June 18 in Landover, MD, with stops in cities such as Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Chicago along the way.

The roadshow will also swing through Kendrick’s native Los Angeles and SZA’s birthplace of St. Louis, as well as the hometown of Kendrick’s fierce rival Drake, Toronto.

In January, SZA also made it clear that she’s open to doing a full album with Kendrick after Sherri Shepherd said their collabs were the results of pairing “a genius with a genius.”

“Would you and Kendrick together consider doing a joint album?” Shepherd asked on her talk show.

“I would love that,” SZA replied, to audience applause.

“I think that would be amazing,” she elaborated. “He’s such a genius, and part of his genius is him being so elusive and so mysterious. I don’t know what’s going on as much as you don’t know what’s going on. When ‘Luther’ came out, I said, okay, that’s the vocals we’re using. And same with ‘Gloria.’

“I love that… He’s a huge part of my ‘fumbling and finding’ era, because I’m just trusting all of his expertise and being thrust into these moments. He’s so good at saying yes and staying grounded, so I’m just like, ‘Teach me, Sensei, what you know.’”

With the time they’ll have together on the road, anything is possible – but nothing is set in stone just yet.

Meanwhile, SZA has been hinting at retirement.

Kendrick Lamar & SZA Remain On Top Of Billboard Hot 100 With ‘Luther’

At the top of 2025, the singer posted to X that she intended to take a very different direction on her next two albums, and then change jobs entirely.

“To fulfill my last 2 album requirements I think I just wanna make peaceful children’s music n get outta here,” she wrote. “Then go be a farmer n donate the produce to underserved communities.”

The message about quitting music caught some fans by surprise because SZA’s SOS had just recently returned to the top of the Billboard 200 thanks to her Lana deluxe album.
