🛑 Executive Director Scott Green slams claims that officials are favoring the Chiefs, calling the conspiracy insulting and preposterous after Illegal Win against Bills

Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ controversial win over the Buffalo Bills, NFL CEO Scott Green spoke out to address allegations that officials were biased against the Chiefs.

“These allegations are offensive and ridiculous,” Green said. “Our officials are highly trained professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the fairness of the game.”

Of course, Green didn’t stop there. He also criticized fans and analysts who questioned the legitimacy of the Chiefs’ win.

“It’s a shame that people would make these accusations without any evidence,” Green said. “This is a tough game and sometimes the calls don’t go your way. But that doesn’t mean there’s cheating.”

However, many fans didn’t buy Green’s explanation. They pointed to some questionable decisions by officials during the game, such as a Bills denied kickoff that could have changed the outcome of the game.

“I don’t know if there was favoritism, but there were some very questionable decisions,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“I’m a Bills fan and I feel like we were scammed,” another wrote.

It’s unclear at this time whether the NFL will investigate the allegations of favoritism. What’s certain, however, is that the incident tarnished the Chiefs’ win and undermined fans’ faith in the fairness of the NFL.

And in a related development, a group of Bills fans started a petition asking the NFL to review the game. “We want justice for the Bills,” the petition reads. “We don’t believe the Chiefs won fairly.”
