Remember that on April 1, 2018, Eminem gave a powerful trick to his fans, when the male rapper announced that he would cooperate with M&M – a famous candy company that has existed for more than 80 years.
It all started with a photo of M&M candies printed with the “E” Logo that ‘The Shady’ posted on his personal Instagram, along with the status line: “I’ve been looking forward to this collaboration for a long time.” The photo attracted a lot of interaction and support from both Eminem and M&M fans. However, a few days later, people realized that this was just a joke by the male Rapper, on the occasion of April Fools’ Day.
So why is this event interesting?
This event is interesting in that fans have been looking forward to the collaboration between Eminem and M&M for a long time. The biggest reason for this expectation is simply because people often call and abbreviate Eminem’s name as “Em”, and this word when pronounced is similar to the letter “M” in M&M’s brand name. And this coincidence makes fans excited.
Some of you even made an M&M promotional video, then inserted Eminem’s music into it. The video received nearly 4,000,000 views on Youtube, along with many interesting comments.
Or there was the time Eminem’s fans created a portrait of him from M&M candies. And it took more than 1,000 candies to create this work.
So the truth is that there is no collaboration between Eminem and M&M. It’s all just a joke by Eminem. Looking back after a few years, many news sites jokingly said that this event was “Eminem’s most blatant lie in 2018”. Unfortunately, although after Eminem’s “flashing” phase in 2018, up to now there has been no official cooperation between him and M&M.
