A woman with size O breasts says they continue to grow because she lives with a rare medical condition that causes ongoing and rapid breast enlargement.
What started as something she tried to understand when she was younger has now become a major part of her daily life.
Summer Robert, who is 25 years old and just 4 feet 9 inches tall, says her chest now weighs more than four stone (about 25 kilograms).
The weight has had a significant effect on her mobility, posture, and overall comfort.
Doctors diagnosed her with macromastia, a form of breast hypertrophy that causes excess breast tissue to develop more rapidly than usual. As a result, her chest continues to grow over time. Summer has spoken openly about the condition and shared that she has repeatedly been denied breast reduction surgery.
She recalls that by age 10, she was already wearing B-cup bras. By the time she turned 16, her breasts had increased to a double J, making everyday tasks more difficult and uncomfortable.
These pieces were often her only option because standard sizing could no longer support her weight or fit her body properly.
“I once bought a custom bra from a local shop for £800, it funnily enough broke in a month like they all do,” she told the Daily Mail.
“My bust goes up a little bit every month, it depends mostly. I’ve had months where I grow two sizes I’ve had months where I stay the same.”
Speaking to Metro, she explained that the rapid growth has now become a major concern for her doctors: “From 22 to 24, I stayed a K-cup but now they’re increasing rapidly in size again. That’s why doctors think I’ve got gigantomastia, rather than just macromastia.”
Despite the impact on her physical and mental health, she says she has been denied breast reduction surgery because she does not meet the BMI requirements set by the NHS. The constant enlargement of her chest has pushed her BMI into a higher category, even though the extra weight is almost entirely due to breast tissue.
As a result, Summer is officially classified as “morbidly obese,” even though the size of her chest is the main contributing factor to that measurement.
At 17, another doctor dismissed her again and claimed she was “too fat,” which only added to her confusion and frustration about what was happening to her body.
She explained: “They told me to lose weight, even though I was a size eight on the bottom half. My mum went crazy because there was no fat on me.”
“It’s because it was pure breast tissue,” she explained. “I was really sick, but then my mum broke down and my family begged me to eat – that was when I started looking after myself again.”
At age 23, she says a doctor finally acknowledged the severity of her condition and agreed she needed a reduction. She received a referral, but seven months later, the surgery was refused again. Summer claims the denial came down to one reason: “They refused to do the reduction because my BMI was too high. They didn’t care.”
She also describes being over-sexualized in her hospitality jobs, all while dealing with constant physical pain from the weight of her breasts. At 23, she decided to take control of her situation in a way that worked for her.
She became an OnlyFans creator under the name “Scotch Dolly,” and says she earned $70,000 last month.
The work has given her confidence and a sense of financial stability, though she admits it has also led to awkward moments — including discovering that some of her former teachers have subscribed.
And speaking about cat callers, Summer added: “When I was younger I hated the attention but now I just think they could be a potential buyer, and my subscribers aren’t creepy, they genuinely love my breasts and support me.”
