Brigette and Danielle Pheloung have built a combined audience of more than a million followers on Instagram, posting lifestyle and fashion content that often features both of them. As twin sisters, their brand leans into their bond, and they make no secret of how tight-knit they are.
They have even said that being twins gives them an edge in a crowded creator space, and that it helps them stand out when everyone is posting.
“We try to use it as an advantage because it’s unique,” agreed Danielle.
Until about a year ago, the New York–based sisters had never lived apart. They did everything together for years, which made their connection even stronger.
She has since moved in with her husband-to-be, but the separation is more technical than real, because Danielle lives only a 10-minute walk away. They still see each other often and collaborate on content.
One surprising detail the pair shared is that they once relied on a single bra between them. They said it was not unusual for them to swap that piece of lingerie whenever one of them needed it.
“And we share underwear,” Brigette then added, a point her twin quickly echoed.
After hearing that the sisters share “literally” everything, hosts Brooke Miccio and Danielle Carolan were stunned. Their reaction mirrored how many listeners felt about the confession.
Their admission left people “stunned.” One user wrote online: “I first heard this months ago and still stunned.”
“Makes me want to barf,” someone else protested. On TikTok, a commenter argued that sharing underwear “crosses a line,” and many agreed that this was too personal, even for siblings.
At the same time, dozens of twins weighed in to say the habit did not shock them. Several said that sharing basics was common when they lived together and that it felt practical more than anything else.
“Identical twin here and can confirm we also do this,” echoed somebody else.
“My twin and I did the same when we lived together,” wrote another.
