Newly Declassified Records Suggest Adam Schiff Approved Leaks of Classified Information During Trump–Russia Probe

Freshly released FBI interview summaries are reigniting controversy around Senator Adam Schiff, with a whistleblower alleging that he authorized the leaking of classified material during the height of the Trump–Russia investigation — and that those leaks were intended to politically damage then-President Donald Trump.

The documents, obtained by Just The News, detail statements made to the FBI between 2017 and 2023 by a source described as a Democratic intelligence officer who worked directly for the House Intelligence Committee. At the time of the alleged incidents, Schiff was the ranking Democrat on the committee and would later become its chairman.

Whistleblower’s Allegations
According to the whistleblower, Schiff explicitly told staff during an all-hands meeting that the committee would leak classified information “derogatory” to Trump. The stated purpose, the source claimed, was to create grounds for indicting the president.

The whistleblower further alleged that Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), another committee member, likely served as the direct conduit for the leaks. These disclosures, the source said, were strategically aimed at bolstering the “Russiagate” narrative that dominated political discourse during Trump’s presidency.
