Warning: This article contains discussion of suicide, which may be upsetting for some readers.

A social media influencer was found dead not long after she reportedly shared a deeply concerning message online.

Zaria Khadejah Carr, who was 27 years old, was confirmed dead after police in Twin City, Georgia, responded to a call about a domestic disturbance around 9:30 p.m. on June 14.

Officers from the Twin City Police Department, along with members of the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office and Emanuel County EMS, were the first to arrive.

They initially found Carr unresponsive. Despite efforts to save her, she sadly passed away.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) later reported that her husband was discovered dead from an apparent suicide after a police encounter.

Investigators noted that at the time officers responded to the home the couple shared, Carr’s husband, 36-year-old Shamarcus Jameal, was not there.

His vehicle was also missing from the property.

A statewide alert was issued for the missing vehicle. Around 11 p.m., officers located it and tried to pull Jameal over. During the attempted stop, he allegedly shot himself.

According to the GBI, Jameal was taken to a hospital but later died from his injuries.

As reported by People, someone who says they knew the couple told the outlet that Jameal had built a following on Facebook under the name “The Frenchman.”

Under his influencer name, Jameal reportedly had around 44,000 followers who tuned in regularly to see his work breeding French Bulldogs.

According to the same source, Carr was also active on social media and went by the name “Dutchess Dior.”

She had more than 30,000 followers and was often seen on Jameal’s page. In one post, she was featured in a maternity photoshoot.

Her final known post is believed to have gone up on the same day she died.

In what now appears to be a haunting message, she allegedly wrote: “I really don’t know what to do .. but i need help before i lose my life or freedom ! My kids need me !”
