One of Justin Bieber’s representatives has issued a public statement following developments in Diddy’s sex trafficking case.
Back in September, Sean “Diddy” Combs was formally indicted by a grand jury and taken into custody at the Park Hyatt hotel located in Manhattan, New York.
His trial began on Monday (May 12) in Manhattan, where multiple witnesses were called to testify. Among them was Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, his former partner, who accused him of rape, blackmail, and physical assault.
When Combs was first taken into custody and his Los Angeles home was searched by police in March last year, older videos involving him began to reappear online—including one featuring a young Justin Bieber.
“Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream,” Combs shared in the video.
He added: “For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.”
In 2011, the two also made a joint appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Combs remarked: “[Bieber] knows better than to be talking about things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television.”
These videos started gaining traction again soon after they were re-shared, quickly amassing millions of views in just a few hours.
A spokesperson for Bieber told TMZ on Thursday (May 15): “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him.”
“Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

This response follows earlier reports where unnamed ‘sources’ also spoke to the outlet.
These sources—some described as being very close to Bieber—reportedly clarified that his interactions with Combs were mainly for public appearances. They were not actually friends, and Bieber was said to be closer to Combs’ sons instead.
They also insisted that Combs never abused Bieber in any form.
